Listed below are the credits required by the South Carolina Department of Education and Palmetto State E-cademy for a student to graduate and earn a state high-school diploma.
Our counselors will work with you to ensure that you receive appropriate credit for previously completed high school coursework, and set up a plan to help you stay on track to graduate on time.

* Students planning on attending a 4-year university will need 3 lab science credits for admission.
** Computer literacy is a requirement in order to graduate.
*** For a student in a college prep program, 1.0 credit must be earned in a Foreign Language (most 4-year colleges & universities require 2.0 credits). For a student in a tech prep program, 1.0 credit must be earned in a career and/or technology program of study.
In addition to these credit requirements, students are required to:
Achieve proficiency (score level 2 or higher) on the HSAP and Mathematics and pass the End of Course (EOC) exams.
Students graduating from Palmetto State E-cademy receive a State of South Carolina High School Diploma and have the opportunity to participate in a face-to-face graduation ceremony complete with cap and gown.
